Painted as a homage to the many feet who both walked & walk this Dale. Where a multitude of sound, conversations, laughter and curlew’s cry are absorbed by these limestone crags who over time being witness to our wanderings.
Here you see a patterned landscape, a verticle climb, portrayed in colours of teal & violet with pops of golden pink summer light. Notice where sky & land unite with summer showers falling onto rock. Both eroding & forming this landscape to join the deep blue stream tumbling down the crag as flecks of sunshine dance on its path.
Water collected here is part of this painting as fragments of limestone add texture to its surface.
