Join International Artist Linda Hollingshead, well known for her friendly, inspirational & enjoyable courses & workshops, to paint the scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

Bring along your favourite Art Materials to be inspired and allow Linda to lead you through an easy to follow process for painting outdoors. Enliven your senses immersed in this idyllic setting to express your creativity.

The Workshop

Your day begins with an Introduction & welcome where Linda shares great information along with a process for painting out in the landscape. Time is given to explore the scenery & select your favourite spot to paint! Before creating Preparatory sketches with colour and light considerations before leading into your landscape painting.

Linda demonstrates ways to simplify a scene to gain confidence and understand how to create impact in your art.

Vintage Bettys provides lunch.

The afternoon offers further opportunities to continue your scene focussing on one painting or several, happily painting at your own pace. Linda offers valuable one to one tuition and guidance in situ.

There will be a summary & round up session with tips & suggestions for ways to continue your Landscape Painting Journey. Then time to Kick back and relax with our fabulous well deserved treat at Vintage Bettys for their famous scrummy afternoon sweet & savory tea served either in the Vintage shepherds Hut or the gazebo on the lawn. (All dietry requirements catered for)
